Amanda Ellen was born about 1842.1 Amanda Ellen's father was Alvin Bralock Senter and her mother is Janet McNeil. Her paternal grandfather was Stephen Senter and her paternal grandmother is Anna Blalock. She has three brothers and four sisters, named James Malcolm, William Marshall, David Clark, Mary Ann, Martha Jane, Eliza Catherine and Frances Rebecca.
