William Hackley Sams

William Hackley was born in 1790 in Bruke Co., North Carolina.¹ William Hackley's father was James Sams and his mother is Mary Agnes Warren. His maternal grandparents were Hackley Warren and Sarah Shipp. He had five brothers named Warren, John Warren, James,Jr., Lot Lancelot and Reuben. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 40 in 1830 in Clay Co., Illinois.¹
