Travis Roberts 
Travis was born on September 22nd, 1837 in Washington Co., Texas.1 Travis' father was William, Sr. Roberts and his mother was Elizabeth Pryor. His paternal grandparents were John, Sr. Roberts and Susanna Mason. He had a sister named Martha. He was the older of the two children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Redding, William, Jr., Mary, Mahalia and Nancy. He died at the age of 64 in 1901 in Evant, Texas.1 
Travis and Mary Ann were married in a religious ceremony on February 1st, 1855 in Williamson Co., Texas.1 They had six sons and four daughters, named Andrew Jackson, Thomas, George W., Benjamin Travis, William Monroe, Joseph, Delila, Sylvia Ann, Nancy Elizabeth and Omie.
