Redding Roberts

Redding was born about 1819.¹   Redding's father was William, Sr. Roberts and his mother is Unknown Wife.  His paternal grandparents were John, Sr. Roberts and Susanna Mason. He had a brother and three sisters, named William, Jr., Mary, Mahalia and Nancy.  He is the oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Travis and Martha.

‌Redding and Winnie were married in a religious ceremony on January 23rd, 1840.¹   They have a son and five daughters, named James, Frances, Mary, Priscella, Mariah and Elethia.
