Silas B. Ritchie 
Silas B. was born on March 17th, 1859 in Perry Co., Kentucky.1 Silas B.'s father is Martin Washburn Ritchie and his mother is Rebecca Williams. His paternal grandfather was James Monroe Ritchie and his paternal grandmother is Hannah Fugate. He had three brothers and a sister, named Pleasant, James, Nickademus and Anna. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Gabriel, William, Thomas, Henry, Alexander, Vina, Sarah, Lydia and Nancy. He died at the age of 80 on February 27th, 1940 in Tribby, Perry Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Fugate Cemetery, Knott Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
