Nickademus Ritchie 
Nickademus was born on March 27th, 1862 in Perry Co., Kentucky.1 Nickademus' father is Martin Washburn Ritchie and his mother is Rebecca Williams. His paternal grandfather was James Monroe Ritchie and his paternal grandmother is Hannah Fugate. He had three brothers and a sister, named Pleasant, James, Silas B. and Anna. He was the youngest of the five children. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Gabriel, William, Thomas, Henry, Alexander, Vina, Sarah, Lydia and Nancy. He died at the age of 63 on November 24th, 1925 in Knott Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Fugate Cemetery, Knott Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
