Manuel Ritchie 
Manuel was born on July 4th, 1894.1 Manuel's father was William Ritchie and his mother was Lucinda Hurt. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Grigsby Ritchie and Kissiah Smith. He had a brother and a sister, named David O. and Mary Jane. He was the youngest of the three children. He had six half-sisters named Elizabeth, Matilda, Kizzie, Rachel, Naomi and Rosanna.
