Karue Ritchie 
Karue was born on March 8th, 1883 in Buckhorn Creek, Breathitt Co., Kentucky.1 Karue's father was Alexander Crockett Ritchie and his mother was Matilda Napier. His paternal grandfather was James Monroe Ritchie and his paternal grandmother is Hannah Fugate. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Andrew, Lawson, Isom, John, Gilbert, Caroline and Page. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 96 on August 28th, 1979.1 General Notes
