John C. Ritchie 
John C. was born in June 1872 in Kentucky.1 John C.'s father was Zackariah Ritchie and his mother was Sylvania Campbell. His paternal grandfather was James Monroe Ritchie and his paternal grandmother is Hannah Fugate. He had four brothers named Peyton, Josiah, Green and Elliott. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 92 on January 30th, 1965 in Knott. He was buried in Dobson Cemetery, Vest, Knott Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
