William Bird Reed 
William Bird was born on October 29th, 1878 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 William Bird's father was James Eli Reed and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Wise. His maternal grandfather is Richard M. Wise and his maternal grandmother was Nancy J. Johnson. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named John Thomas, Ebb Orville, Eddie W., Richard L., Otto P., Nattie Earl, James Eli,Jr., Amanda Jane, Lula A., Allie M., Nannie Pearl and Flossie M.. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 82 on August 29th, 1961 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
