Sara Alice Ratliff

Sara Alice was born about 1867 in Van Zant Co., Texas.¹   Sara Alice's father is Stephen Ratliff and her mother was Nancy Virginia Smith.  Her maternal grandfather is John Peter Smith. She has a sister named Mary.  She is the older of the two children. She had four half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Thomas Riley, John Peter, Burt Columbus, Charles B. (Charlie), Saphronia Frances, Elizabeth Florence (Bets, Eva Edna, Gracy, Snow and Jessie Esther.

‌Sara Alice and James Artemas were married in a religious ceremony on January 1st, 1885.¹
