George Peters

George was born on October 26th, 1870 in Hanover, Germany.¹   George's father was Karl Peters and his mother was Sophie Kirgeleis. He had two brothers and a sister, named Carl Heinrich A., Fredrick H. and Sophie M..  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 53 on February 10th, 1924 in DeWitt Co., Texas.  He was buried in Nordheim Cemetery, DeWitt Co., Texas.^1 1 

‌George and Caroline Amalia Alwine were married in a religious ceremony on December 15th, 1896 in Yorktown, DeWitt Co., Texas.¹
