Gladys Grace was born on September 29th, 1895 in Albany, Clinton Co., Kentucky.1 Gladys Grace's father was Alvis Pennycuff and her mother was Susan Mary Means. Her maternal grandparents were Caleb Sewell Means and Docia Emeline Norris. She had a brother and two sisters, named Othello, Lucy Mae and Gertrude Imogene.
