Florence P was born in 1875 in ARKANSAS.¹ Florence P's father was Thomas E Pendley and her mother was Thalmy Mitchell. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac E Pendley and Julia A Ewing. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William P, Isaac Edward, John H, Sopha A and Cornelia. She was the second oldest of the six children.¹
