Vester Thomas was born in March 1917 in Bartons Chapel, Jack Co., Texas.1 Vester Thomas' father was Robert Ap Owen and his mother was Lucy Eva Oliver. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Edward Owen and Margaret Ann Roberts; his maternal grandparents were Nicolas Oliver and Ellen (Ellenor) Warner. He had five brothers named Nicholas Robert, Herschel Clem, Living, Living and Living. He died at the age of 55 on December 7th, 1972 in Prague, Oklahoma.1 -
