George Amos Megginson

George Amos was born on October 2nd, 1851.¹   George Amos' father was John R. Uncle Jack Megginson and his mother was Fanny Hodgkinson.  His paternal grandparents were Ralph Megginson and Mary Richardson. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Richardson Dale, Ralph William, Joseph Peter Dousland, Robert Vincent, Reuben Coats, Simpson Shirley, Elizabeth Jane, Mary Luella, Linnie Teatheina and Georgia Hellena.  He was the oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 66 on October 16th, 1917.¹ 

They had two daughters named Fanny Clerinda and Mary Louella.
