Ida Mattie was born on June 2nd, 1911.1 Ida Mattie's father was John Alexander McFarland and her mother was Jo Blanche Lovett. Her paternal grandparents were William Jackson McFarland and Janie Adeline Campbell. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Joe Alexander, James Burnham, Robert Harrison, Dorothy Maxine and Mary Vivian. She is the second oldest of the six children.General Notes
