William Clarence McDowell 
William Clarence was born on October 29th, 1908 in Horry Co., South Carolina.1 William Clarence's father was Fernly McDowell and his mother was Daisy Gertrude Price. His maternal grandparents were John Hyman Price and Margaret Beaty Graham. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John Hyman, Wilbert K., Leon, Reba Mae, Lucille and Mildred.
