Annice Lois was born on January 4th, 1918 in Harwood, Gonzales Co., Texas.1 Annice Lois' father was Albert Lewis McDonald and her mother was Martha Belle Tumlinson. Her maternal grandparents were James Stephen Tumlinson and Elizabeth Wright. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Cecil Roades, John Floyd, Earnest Douglas, Olin Mae, Jessie Lee, Callie Ophelia, Violia Australia and Mildred Irene.
