Howard Templeton McCOY 
Howard Templeton was born on April 18th, 1831.1 Howard Templeton's father was Willis McCOY and his mother was Frances Brown. His paternal grandparents were Willis McCOY and Holland McCOY; his maternal grandparents were Peyton Brown and Betsy UNKNOWN. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Harvey Peyton, Willis H, Hulda B, Hettie Jane and Frances Rebecca. He was the third oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named James Lewis. He died at the age of 80 on September 1st, 1911 in SANDY CREEK CEME, BUTLER CO., KY.1 General Notes
