Daniel Newton Leslie

Daniel Newton was born on February 15th, 1856.¹ Daniel Newton's father was Daniel Leslie and his mother was Flora Ann Gillis. His maternal grandparents were Roderick D. Gillis and Mary Patterson. He has two brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, John, Margaret P., Mary and Flora S.. He is the second youngest of the six children.
