Dewey Knott

Dewey was born on July 9th, 1898.¹ Dewey's father was Scott Knott and his mother is Martha Gilpin. His paternal grandparents were Raphael (Ralph) Knott and Abigail Basham. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Paul, Seth, Virgil, Wallace, Mattie, Ada and Toney. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Albert, Living, Ida, Louise and Pauline.
