Samuel Keasler 
Samuel was born on August 8th, 1808 in Newberry, South Carolina.1 Samuel's father was Abraham Keisler and his mother was Nancy Boyd. His paternal grandfather was William Henry Kesler and his paternal grandmother is Wife Unknown; his maternal grandparents were John Boyd and Jane Bernardoe. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named John, Henry, David, Abraham, Jr., James, Joseph Cephus, Nathan, William L., Lemuel, Mary Jane and Nancy Jane. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 87 on October 29th, 1895 in Pickens, Alabama.1 -
