Mattie Isabelle was born on December 7th, 1906.1 Mattie Isabelle's father was John Eldred Keahey and her mother is Emma Mae Howington. Her paternal grandparents are George Washington Keahey and Martha Allen. She had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas Vernon, George Daniel and Charley Annie Wiley. She was the second oldest of the four children. She had two half-brothers named Johnnie and Charlie. She died at the age of 69 on September 12th, 1976.1 General Notes
