Rosa Etta was born on August 28th, 1892 in Webster Co., Kentucky.1 Rosa Etta's father was William Johnson and her mother was Julia Elizabeth Bassham. Her maternal grandparents were Martin L. Bassham and Alice Louisa Horton. She had three brothers and two sisters, named James, David, Tempy, Netta and Rebecca. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 92 on July 4th, 1985 in Kennett, Dunklin Co., Missouri.1 General Notes
