John Quince Johnson 
John Quince was born on August 4th, 1852 in Horry Co., South Carolina.1 John Quince's father was John A. Johnson and his mother was Margaret Ann Johnston McQueen. His maternal grandfather was William J. McQueen and his maternal grandmother is Susannah Graham. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William F., Matthew H., Mary Elizabeth, Sarah, Eliza Jane, Margaret Susannah and Dorcas L. J.. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
