Velma Hogan 
Velma was born on September 2nd, 1902 in Granite, Kiowa Co., Texas.1 Velma's father was Thomas Jefferson Davis Hogan and her mother was Edna Cordelia Manning. Her maternal grandparents were James Duncan Manning and Martha Jane Graham. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Barney, Leslie B., Ray T., Monty, Cuba and Ora Alta. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She died at 7 months old on April 24th, 1903 in Granite, Kiowa Co., Texas.1 General Notes
