James Higginbotham 
James was born on December 25th, 1729 in ,Amherst, Va.1 James' father was John Higginbotham and his mother was Frances Riley. His paternal grandparents were Charles Higginbotham and Ann Rawlins. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Moses C, Aaron, John, Benjamin, Joseph, Thomas Jefferson, Rachel and Ann. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 83 on March 14th, 1813 in ,Amherst, Va.1 General Notes
