David Nolie Hicks

David Nolie was born on February 17th, 1902.¹   David Nolie's father is James Malcolm Hicks and his mother was Fanny Eliza LouDella Sweat.  His maternal grandparents were Randall Terrell Sweat and America L. Bassham. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Joseph Novie, James Onie, William Lonie "Duck", Ronald Virgil, Ora, Ethel, Arizona "Zonie", Dora "Dodo", Ada and America Leona "Peggy".  He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 83 on May 16th, 1985.¹ 

‌David Nolie and Arbie Jewel were married in a religious ceremony on November 23rd, 1932.¹   They had a son and a daughter, named Living and Living.
