S. V. was born on February 6th, 1907 in Christoval, Tom Green Co., Texas.1 S. V.'s father was Robert Lee Henry and his mother was Lola Laura Jane Curry. His paternal grandparents are James Henry and UNKNOWN Louise. He had two brothers named J. B. (Twin) and J. D. (Twin). He was the youngest of the three children.
