John W. Havard

John W. was born about 1841 in Mississippi.¹   John W.'s father was Henry, Sr. Havard and his mother was Tinsey C. Dinney.  His paternal grandparents are Charles Havard and Jane Williams; his maternal grandparents were Walter Denny and Walter's Wife Unknown. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Jeremiah (Sank), Henry Harris, Alexander Singleton (Dunk), David W., Elizabeth and Matilda.  He is the third oldest of the seven children. He had six half-brothers and five half-sisters, named John, Norman T., Charly Harrison, Sank Willis, Arthur B., Clide, Ader, Ider, Carie Stella, Nancy Caroline and Celie.
