John Havard

John was born on October 20th, 1866.¹   John's father was Henry, Sr. Havard and his mother is Nancy Caroline Grimes.  His paternal grandparents are Charles Havard and Jane Williams. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Norman T., Charly Harrison, Sank Willis, Arthur B., Clide, Ader, Ider and Carie Stella.  He is the oldest of the nine children. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Jeremiah (Sank), John W., Henry Harris, Alexander Singleton (Dunk), David W., Elizabeth, Matilda, Nancy Caroline and Celie.
