Jeptha Harrington 
Jeptha was born on February 9th, 1775 in Chatam Co., North Carolina.1 Jeptha's father was Drury Harrington and her mother was Rachel Petty. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Harrington and Agnes Hill; her maternal grandfather was E. P. Petty and her maternal grandmother is Martha Clanton. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Wiley Allen, Drury, James Fowler, Delilah, Charity, Martha, Nancy, Sarah, Rachel and Mary. She was the oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 90 on April 29th, 1865 in Chambers Co., Alabama.1 General Notes
