William Thompson Grigsby 
William Thompson was born on January 20th, 1828.1 William Thompson's father was Abner Porter Grigsby and his mother is Margaret Thompson. His paternal grandparents were Elisha Grigsby and Elizabeth Hawkins Porter. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Elisha, Henry Alex, John Porter, Sarah Frances and Elizabeth.
