Charles Henry was born on January 28th, 1928 in New Orleans, Louisana.1 Charles Henry's father was Charles Austin Gray and his mother was Willie Oma Keahey. His maternal grandparents were Henry Putman Keahey and Nancy Zulena Cobb. He had three brothers and a sister, named Roy Marvin, Aubon Oren, Gerald LaNeal and Juanita Roline. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 42 in April 1970 in Amite, Louisana. He was buried in Amite Cemetery, Amite, Louisana.1 1 General Notes
