Julia Annie was born in June 1898 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 Julia Annie's father was Harrison Graham and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth DeSpain. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Thomas DeSpain and Sarah Frances Warren. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Gallant Thomas, John B., George Franklin, Anna Alice, Eva Mae and Edna M.. She is the oldest of the seven children.General Notes
