Gideon was born on April 5th, 1884 in Coryell Co., Texas.1 Gideon's father was Jesse Abner Graham and his mother was Nancy E. Allen. His paternal grandparents were Gideon Graham and Elizabeth Minnix. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Samuel Alexander, William Abner, Ernest Abner, Elizabeth, Millie E., Melvina J. and Stella F.. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named John Wesley, Jessie Alice and Mary Jane. He died at the age of 71 on June 23rd, 1955 in Newton, Newton Co., Texas.1 General Notes
