Thomas Gentry

Thomas was born in 1857 in Tennessee.¹ Thomas' father is William Gentry and his mother is Jane Sams. His maternal grandparents were Gabriel C. Sams and Mary Polly Hampton. He has four brothers and six sisters, named George W., Andrew Jackson, Abner, William Kenold, Molly Pollie, Delitha, Arminda, Clarissa, Sarah and Celia. He is the fifth youngest of the eleven children.
