William Gause 
William was born in 1798 in North Carolina.1 William's father was John Gause and his mother was UNKNOWN Mary. His paternal grandfather was Needham Gause and his paternal grandmother is Hannah Frink. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, James S., Austin Bacot, Eliza, Martha, Mary J. and Ann Rebecca. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 43 in 1841 in Alabama.1 -
