John Gause 
John was born in 1789 in North Carolina.1 John's father was John Gause and his mother was UNKNOWN Mary. His paternal grandfather was Needham Gause and his paternal grandmother is Hannah Frink. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James S., William, Austin Bacot, Eliza, Martha, Mary J. and Ann Rebecca. He is the oldest of the eight children.-
