Van Boklin Gause

Van Boklin was born in 1857 in Brunswick County, NC.¹ Van Boklin's father was William Reuben Gause and his mother is Rebecca Ann Cason. His paternal grandparents are Joseph W. Gause and Mary Ann Grissett. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named George William, Joseph Duvall, Marshall Bell, Charles Albany, Thomas Olen, Frank Jefferson, Robert Edwin, Samuel Fletcher, Lettie Olimthus and Mary Eliza.
