Serena Fugate 
Serena was born on February 22nd, 1854 in Perry Co., Kentucky.1 Serena's father was Henley Fugate and her mother was Tabitha Ritchie. Her maternal grandfather was James Monroe Ritchie and her maternal grandmother is Hannah Fugate. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Gabriel, Anderson, Henry, Samuel, Daniel, Hiram, Lovina, Louisa, Hannah, Heney and Sarah. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 78 on September 4th, 1932 in Knott Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
