Lovina Fugate 
Lovina was born on July 15th, 1850 in Kentucky.1 Lovina's father was Henley Fugate and her mother was Tabitha Ritchie. Her maternal grandfather was James Monroe Ritchie and her maternal grandmother is Hannah Fugate. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Gabriel, Anderson, Henry, Samuel, Daniel, Hiram, Louisa, Serena, Hannah, Heney and Sarah. She was the oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 72 on September 15th, 1922.1 General Notes

‌Lovina and William were married in a religious ceremony on February 12th, 1877.1 They had nine sons and three daughters, named Lafyette, Sampson S., Boyd, Floyd, John D., Lurany, Cliffton, Ory, Harlan, Mahulda, Amanda and Armelda.
