Samuel August Foust 
Samuel August was born on January 23rd, 1886 in Salem, Fulton Co., Arkansas.1 Samuel August's father was John David, Jr. Foust and his mother was Alice Armintia Bassham. His paternal grandparents are John David, Sr. Foust and Sarah Wood; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Frederick Howard Basham and Elizabeth Charity Ray. He had a brother and two sisters, named Archibald Rodolphus, Cora Bell and Sarah Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 61 on June 24th, 1947 in Chicksaha, Oklahoma. He was buried in Minco, Oklahoma.1 1 General Notes
