Johann Heinrich was born on August 15th, 1825 in Broxten, Germany.1 Johann Heinrich's father was Johann Friedrich Eggemann and his mother was Margrethe Elisabeth Buse. His paternal grandparents were Johann Heinrich Eggemann [Bruning] and Marie Elisabeth Eggemann; his maternal grandparents were Johann Heinrich Buse and Marie Elisabeth Bruning. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Johann Friedrich, Gerhard Wilhelm, Philipp Wilhelm, Anne Marie, Marie Elisabeth and Anne Catherine Henriette. He was the third youngest of the seven children.1 -
