Frances Jane was born in 1792 in North Carolina.1 Frances Jane's father is Edmund Dixion and her mother was Catherine Warren. Her maternal grandfather was Goodloe Warren and her maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Stuart. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William, Warren, Henry Edmund, Edmund, Levi, Elizabeth, Mary, Anne Powell, Jeremiah W. and Martha.
