Tippie Canoe was born on November 13th, 1878 in Lawrence Co., Alabama.1 Tippie Canoe's father was Thomas Edward Davidson and her mother is Mary Redden. Her paternal grandparents were Obediah S. Davidson and Eleanor Carpenter. She was an only child. She died at the age of 86 on May 5th, 1965.1 General Notes
