Beaulau Mae was born on May 8th, 1904 in Texas.1 Beaulau Mae's father was William Thomas Cromeans and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Taylor. Her maternal grandparents were Amos Gayle,Rev. Taylor and Martha Matilida Graham. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Abner, Theodore Ernest, Oliver Ammond, Neville, Nancy Lucinda, Maude Elizabeth and Rosetta B..
