George Combs

George was born in 1835 in Kentucky.¹   George's father is Clinton Combs and his mother is Matilda Combs.  His paternal grandparents are Mason Combs and Jenny Richardson; his maternal grandparents are George Combs and Lydia Herald. He has a brother named Jackson.  He is the older of the two children. He has thirteen half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named Hiram, Clinton D., Nelson, Hugh, Adrian Edward, John, William, Sampson B., Raney, David Yancy, Richmond, James Patrick, Cooley, Alsey, Martha, Sidad, Emilina, Susan, Elizabeth, Jane, Liza and Ida.

‌George and Mary Ann were married in a religious ceremony on May 15th, 1855.¹   They have a daughter named Matilda.
