Emilina Combs

Emilina was born in 1843 in Kentucky.¹   Emilina's father is Clinton Combs and her mother is Elizabeth Combs.  Her paternal grandparents are Mason Combs and Jenny Richardson; her maternal grandparents are Shadrack Combs and Martha Casebolt. She has six brothers and five sisters, named Hiram, Clinton D., Nelson, Hugh, Adrian Edward, John, Alsey, Martha, Sidad, Susan and Elizabeth.  She is the fifth youngest of the twelve children. She has nine half-brothers and three half-sisters, named George, Jackson, William, Sampson B., Raney, David Yancy, Richmond, James Patrick, Cooley, Jane, Liza and Ida.

‌Emilina and Balis were married in a religious ceremony in 1886.¹   They had a son named Carlile.
